Google Ad Grant

Up to $10,000 per month in free Google Search advertising for eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits.

The grant, explained

What is the Google Ad Grant?

The Google Ad Grant is part of Google for Nonprofits and provides eligible 501(c)(3) organizations with up to $10,000 per month in free Google Search advertising. Approved nonprofits can appear at the top of Google search results when people search for topics related to their mission, programs, and services.

It is a monthly ad credit, not guaranteed spend. Actual performance depends on search demand, campaign quality, and ongoing compliance with Google's program policies.

Accounts that fall out of compliance, such as failing to maintain proper conversion tracking or using low-quality keywords, can be suspended until the issues are resolved.

How Google Search Campaigns Can Support Your Mission

Google Search campaigns help nonprofits appear in front of people actively searching for programs, services, events, and causes related to their mission.

  • Drive traffic to your website
  • Reach more volunteers, supporters, and attendees
  • Promote programs and initiatives
  • Increase donations
  • Build brand and content awareness
  • Sell tickets, fill events, and rent your space
